Key Responsibilities:
  • Select newly discovered travel products into Lulutrip’s product lines based on customers’ needs

  • thoroughly research products with tour operators and service providers to highlight and promote the products’ advantages

  • categorise products based on their destinations, POI, and other criteria in order to optimize customers’ expe!

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Be passionate about travel and have extensive travel experience in UK and EU;

  • Has 1-2 years of Marketing experience with good understanding of digital marketing;

  • detail-oriented, logical, creative and able to think out of the box;

  • Team player with a positive, "can-do" attitude;

  • Has demonstrable ability to plan and organize multiple priorities simultaneously and to consistently meet deadlines;

  • Is a native Mandarin speaker with fast Chinese typing speed

  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, SEM and SEO

  • Has a passion for customers and commercial excellence

We are looking for a sales executive to support our Conferences team. Applicants need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and have a positive and enthusiastic outlook. You need to be able to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment and be comfortable with working towards targets whilst providing excellent service.

This role is for Mandarin only. As you will be calling and selling to delegates in China.

Who will you be working for:
This global consultancy and information provider are looking for an ambitious and dedicated 'Delegate Sales Executive’ to join their growing conference team.

The role involves selling delegate passes for a leading conference in China. You will be based in their Barbican offices but there is also an option to work from home.

If you are a native Chinese candidate, you can also opt to work from their Beijing office.

What your job will consist of:
You are responsible for the research of markets and to sell delegate places for conferences to enable you to meet and exceed sales targets. You will develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients. You will liaise with your department as well as externally with clients to deliver consistent communications for each event. Your duties will include using the telephone and targeted emailing to follow up leads gained from marketing campaigns. Be ready to work to set deadlines and objectives!

The hours will be 1am - 9am, Monday to Friday in line with Beijing time. This is a three month fixed term contract.

Requirements:
  • Experience working in a telesales environment (paid or unpaid experience is valued), ideally for at least one year or other equivalent office experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) in English AND Mandarin

  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly in Excel) and experience working with databases

The successful candidate will educate and assist buyers in the completion of all requisite formalities and deal with queries as they arise to ensure stress-free completion of purchases.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will be a fluent Chinese Mandarin speaker who has an in depth understanding of culture and language; they will have excellent command of Mandarin and English, in both written and oral capacity. The ideal candidate will be degree educated or equivalent and ideally have previous experience in residential property management. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically; be confident in dealing with clients and can remain calm under pressure. They will be a persuasive communicator; and have previous marketing and sales skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office; have meticulous attention to detail; and a natural problem solver.

Working within the London office, we are looking for an experienced marketing and business development professional to promote our services within the Chinese community in the UK. Initially the candidate will be working closely with the head of the China desk to develop market and service line knowledge, but also to hone their business development skills in order to move into a more client facing and business development role.

Person Specification:
  • Demonstrable marketing and business development experience within a professional services firm

  • Relevant experience within a China desk role would be advantageous

  • Ideally degree qualified or equivalent

  • Fluent Mandarin speaker (Essential)

  • IT Literate, particularly in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong, confident personality

Remuneration:

  • The starting salary will be market rate, commensurate with experience

  • Normal hours of work are 35 per week, to be worked from 9.30am to 5.30pm
