Job Opportunity

Computershare is a global market leader in transfer agency and share registration, employee equity plans, proxy solicitation and stakeholder communications. We also specialise in corporate trust, mortgage, bankruptcy, class action, utility and tax voucher administration, and a range of other diversified financial and governance services.


The Corporate Services team provides specialist support and project management to clients in relation to their corporate activity in the broad categories of capital raising, merger and acquisitions, meetings, dividends and capital management. Many of our clients will raise funds via the equity market, conduct a shareholder meeting, disburse dividend proceeds, engage in takeovers or use surplus funds to buy-back shares. This activity is often critical to our client’s corporate calendar, strategic direction and may involve intensive interaction with deal advisors.


Role:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for liaison with clients and other departments, to prepare and manage the dispatch of documentation to shareholders, ensuring all tasks are completed as per Event Management, client reporting and back end logistics. The Project Coordinator must follow all relevant company policies and procedures, whilst dealing with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the client’s requirements and expectations are met.


To succeed in this position you will need to demonstrate:

Previous project coordination experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
High concern for detail, the desire for accuracy and the quality in the work completed
Demonstrate a skill in analysing customer situations and providing solutions to customers
Computer literate (Intermediate skill level in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Able to work to deadlines
Strong Organisational and Time management skills
Ability to liaise with all Computershare personnel
Ability to quickly grasp internal systems and process

Adaptability, to be flexible (working hours) to meet deadlines


*Preferably PR , other visas with full work rights are also eligible


Desired experience

Capable of working in a team environment
Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously or without supervision
Previous SCRIP knowledge
Registry, Finance or Corporate Services experience
