2016—2017学年第一学期即将开始，合肥高新中加学校中学部全体教职员工提前返校，对新学期中将要面对的各项工作事宜，展开了针对性的培训与细致的研讨准备。具体工作包括教育教学工作会议、班主任培训、教职员工圆方项目培训、智慧课堂培训，以及各学科的分组教研活动等。本次活动既是一次教研学习和教学实例的完美结合，也是中加教师们互相分享经验交流成长的重要契机。会议主要内容如下：

2016-2017 school year is around the corner. All the SCCS faculty and staff come back to school in advance. In terms of the new school year’s various work matters, The SCCS teachers carry out targeted trainings and preparation for seminars. The detailed work includes education and teaching meeting, homeroom teachers ’training, round square program training, SMARTBoard training, and each departments’ group discussion. This activity combines teaching and research with teaching samples. On the other hand, this activity provides a good opportunity for all the SCCS teachers to share their teaching experience. The meeting contents are as follows.

◆“抓质量·严管理·重德育”——合肥高新中加学校教育教学工作会

◆Emphasizing the teaching quality, strengthening the student management and focusing on the moral education.——Education and teaching meeting of SCCS

会议由教学处张梦雪老师主持，首先宣布了开学之际各项工作的具体时间与安排，随后由卢业功校长发表重要讲话，提出“抓质量·严管理·重德育”的重要会议思想，对全体教师在新学期中的教育教学工作提出更高层次的要求，并做出专业指导和具体建议。

Ms. Zhang hosted the education and teaching meeting and announced the working arrangements of coming 2016-2017 school year. Then the Principal Lu delivered an important speech at the meeting, emphasized the teaching quality, strengthened the student management and focused on the moral education. He put forward more advanced teaching requirements to all the faculty and staff, and gave some professional and useful suggestions.

主要内容围绕如下几点细致开展：1.学校发展与扩张，教学质量始终坚持第一位；2.教师要扎实做好教育教学工作，具体包括备课、备学生、备教法，二次加工教材，学生成绩责任承包，重视教学理论研究等；3.回归教学本质，多元评价孩子，严格学生行为习惯，严而有温度；4.与家长沟通的方式技巧及注意事项。校长在会议中围绕四点具体提出教师应该不断完善自我能力，加深对教育的理解，并做到在以保证教学质量为前提的基础上，提升教学管理水平和与家长沟通的技巧等。

The education and teaching meeting mainly included four key points. First, improving the teaching quality is the most important, which can promote the school development. Second, teachers should strive to do the education and teaching work, including the preparations of lessons, students and teaching methods. Teachers are responsible for student achievement and concentrate on the teaching theories research. Third, teachers should not only emphasize the teaching quality, but also adopt multiple evaluations and cultivate students’ good behaviors. Fourth, teachers need to pay much attention to the communication skills with parents. In summary, Principal Lu hoped that all the teachers can develop themselves, deepen the understanding of education, improving the teaching and class management quality, and strengthen home-school cooperation.

◆“爱有尺度·严有温度”——班主任会议

The Homeroom Teachers’ Meeting—Not over-indulgent love and strictness with great care

班主任作为学校最基层的直接指挥员，是学校德育工作的灵魂，也是教学工作的核心力量。本次会议的目的是帮助新老班主任进一步强化学生常规管理，提高德育工作时效。会议首先由班主任代表费玉香、苏晴霞两位老师分享班主任工作中的经验感触及工作心得。初中部班主任费老师巧妙地将“班主任”三个字拆开，分别从“班集体”、“主人翁”、“责任心”三个层面来阐释了班主任工作的含义。同时，高中部的苏晴霞老师也通过一个个鲜活的案例，阐述了班级文化建设、干部建设及活动建设的方法和技巧，以及人文关怀对班级凝聚力塑造的重要意义。两位班主任对于新老班主任未来的工作职责做出了明确，并表达了对学生教育给予支持和理解的领导及老师的感谢。

Every homeroom teacher is the basic commander and the fundamental teaching strength for our shool.The purpose of this meeting is to guide the experienced and new homeroom teachers to manage their classes and to educate their students better.At first,the experienced homeroom teachers Ms.Fei and Miss Su shared their experiences with all the teachers. Ms.Fei showed her unique understanding of homeroom techers from three aspects which impressed us a lot. Ms.Su shared her experiences in class management.All the two teachers concluded how to be a good homeroom teacher and showed their thanks to our school leaders' support.

大会上，余涛校为在座的班主任们明确了努力的方向和前行的重点，强调了“爱有尺度·严有温度”班主任管理理念，以及在当下信息化数字化时代背景下的“二十一世纪的学习与教育”，要求班主任用真正的爱心去严格管理班级。余涛校长从三个方面对班主任工作进行要求：1.要求班主任班级管理要有大局观，培养具有国际化视野的世界公民，既要关注学生学业，也要关注学生的行为与特长培养，并进一步提出我校应该培养孩子核心学科知识、信息技术、媒体运用、科技思维，生活技能和职业素养，以及用批判性思维去解决问题的能力。2.注重班级文化和班级精神的建立，即软文化与硬文化相结合；3.重申班主任管理黄金20条，鼓励新老班主任在新学期共同努力，扎实做好班级工作。本次会议完美收官，余涛校长及两位班主任的指导思想为本学期学生工作的顺利开展奠定了坚实的基础。

During the meeting, Principal Yu made a conclusion about the direction we are moving forward and important matters we are going to deal with. He emphasized on the managing concept proposed by the teacher Fei and Learning and Education in the 21st Century in the information and digital era. He proposed that the homeroom teachers should manage their classes with strictness as well as real love. Principal Yu thinks that the class management should work hard to create a good class culture and atmosphere. And our school needs to arm our students with core subject knowledge, information technology; media use skills, S&T thinking, life skills, professionalism as well as the ability to solve problems in critical thinking. Principal Yu restated the 20 Golden Rules for homeroom teachers and encouraged the teachers to work harder together in the new term.

◆“Act Today Change Tomorrow”——Round Square Meeting

中加学校的圆方精神一直致力于培养德才兼备、具有超强国际竞争力的世界公民，对中加学子的全面发展有着深刻的意义和价值。本次圆方会议由教学处张梦雪老师主持，会议伊始，张老师首先向本学期新入职的教师们讲解了圆方组织的历史、当下、前景等缘由并阐述了圆方组织六大理念。其中包括：冒险精神、国际理解、民主意识、环保意识、领导才能、服务他人。在圆方精神下，学校成立学生发展委员会，通过学生的自我管理，让学生有了个性与激情，有了独立、创新的高尚品质及终身学习的能力。

Round Square spirit of SCCS has been working to cultivate students with both ability and integrity, as well as with strong international competitiveness as citizens of the world, which has a profound meaning and value in the comprehensive development of students. At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Zhang Mengxue introduced the history, present and prospect of Round Square and further expounded the six concept IDEALS: Adventure, Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Leadership and Service. The school founded the Student Development Committee. Through self-management, students will have the ability of independence, innovative high quality and lifelong learning.

紧接着张老师以文本、图片和视频的方式，向新老师们展示我校和友校的圆方组织所开展的一系列活动，通过实际案例，加深新教师对圆方理念及活动的理解，更对教师队伍及班主任提出较高的德育要求。

Later, Ms. Zhang shows new teachers a series of activities of our school and other Round Square member schools through pictures and videos. This training helps new teachers to better understand Round Square six ideals, and it requires all teachers to pay more attention on moral education.

最后，张老师总结提出了“Act Today Change Tomorrow”的精彩培训主题，本次会议使得新老师深入了解圆方理念，并鼓励老师们将圆方理念运用到日常的教学和管理中。各位老师在本次会议中加深了对于综合素质教育的理解并进一步确定了培养世界公民的态度和目标。

In the end, Ms.Zhang concludes the theme of this meeting, which is called “Act Today Change Tomorrow”. This meeting provides a chance for new teachers to better understand the Round Square ideas, and also encourages teachers to apply Round Square ideals into their daily teaching and management. After the meeting, all the teachers have a further understanding about Comprehensive Quality Education, and they are determined to cultivate world citizens.

◆ 学科教研活动

◆Teaching and Research Activities

为提升中加学校教师的教学能力和对新课程理念的理解，全体教师对于本学期的整体教学工作进行了教研讨论和交流。本次学科教研活动分为语文组、数学组、英语组、政史地组、理化生组、艺体组共6个小组进行。

In order to improve the teachers’ teaching abilities and the understanding of new curriculum, all teachers talk about the teaching project of this semester. The teachers of this teaching and research activity are divided into six groups which include Chinese group, Math group, English group, Liberal Art group, Science group and PE group.

各小组教师齐聚一堂，仔细研磨，积极讨论，针对初、高中两个学段，为单、双学籍班级，分别制定了三年的课程及教材规划。其中课程规划细致到每一个教学周，每一个课时的准备。

The teachers of each group get together and talk about the teaching plans for single and double students’ status classes of junior and senior high school. They make plans of three years’ curriculums and teaching materials. The curriculum plans include the detailed preparation for each week and each class.

通过本次教研活动，老师们进一步加深了对于新课程理念的理解，提高了对于课堂教学本质的认识，同时也对于本学年的课程教学活动作出了充分的准备和完美的开端工作，本学期的教研活动在学校领导的正确指示下以及同事们的支持下圆满进行。

The teachers have a better understanding of the new curriculum concept and the essence of class teaching through the teaching and research activity. At the same time, they have a great start for the new school year and prepare fully for class teaching. Under the guidance of school leaders and the support of colleagues, the teaching and research activity of this semester goes on successfully.
