The company is a rapidly growing logistic firm based in the city of London.  We provide professional goods transports and storage services to both individual and company clients.As the number of our clients is increasing and business is developing in a very fast pace, we are looking for a highly capable and confidentTransport Manager to join our London team.

Being responsible for the day to day operation of our transport department, the successful candidate’s duties won’t be exhaustive and may need to support the operation director with other tasks required by the business.

-   Managing and coordinating the daily delivery and collection logistics in the London area, ensuring all consignments are made within the estimated timeframe

-   Optimizing the daily route management to achieve maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction

-   Supervising the logistics network throughout the rest of UK areas

-   Carrying out the maintenance schedule of the van fleet by regular checking vans’ bodywork condition and cleanliness, as well as managing the van servicing, repairs, MOT’s

-   Liaising with the Customer Service team and Warehouse team over complex orders or any delivery issue Trouble Tickets raised by clients, problem solving where applicable for customer experience satisfaction

-   Being prepared and capable for driving yourself when the need arises

-   Establishing a driver training program and participating in the recruitment of motivated drivers, ensuring staff levels are adequate to conduct any deliveries & collections

-   1+ year experience in transport or logistics industry

-   Preferable diploma degree

-   Strong communication skills with the ability to build excellent relationship with drivers, clients and colleagues at all levels of the company

-   Solid knowledge and understanding of logistics

-   Good time management skill and ability to meet tight deadlines

-   A keen attention to detail and a willingness to strive for excellence is essential

-   Solid IT skills would be an advantage

-   Good command of Mandarin is preferable (particularly able to write and speak fluent Mandarin as you are required to deal with our large number of Chinese clients)
