- Reporting to IESD’s Marketing & Business Development Director
- Help conceptualize, plan & monitor the delivery & maintenance of new IESD product marketing collateral
- Personally create product marketing collateral such as web pages, demonstrations, presentations, workshops, social media posts, contributed articles & white papers
- Personally deliver product presentations at Mentor seminars & industry events
- Personally create both internal & external product training material; deliver this material to live or live online student classes as appropriate
- Personally create & maintain internal marketing resources such as competitor information
- Contribute to IESD’s marketing strategy development, both message content and delivery
- Help support & coach field staff; support selected customer facing situations such as product demonstrations
- Collaborate seamlessly with other Mentor marketing staff, particularly within IESD and with corporate staff engaged with Mentor - Automotive, and with marketing staff from adjacent divisions such as BSD & ESD; be recognized within MGC as a substantial contributor
- These job duties require development of deep personal familiarity with IESD’s products and with their value propositions, coupled with the ability to communicate in both written and spoken / visual form
- Degree level qualification in a technical subject such as systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or computer science
- Several years’ experience of outbound marketing of technical products, ideally enterprise or large scale technical / engineering software applications
- Flair, interest and hands on experience creating technical product marketing collateral
- Conceptual & practical grasp of B2B marketing; commercial & organizational savvy
- Strong interpersonal / influencing, presentation & writing skills; personal presence & credibility; attention to detail
- Ability to travel, including abroad / long haul ~10% of time
- Advantage: experience within the automotive or aerospace / defence industries
- Advantage: international experience and/or second language (ideal: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German or Spanish)
- Advantage: internal MGC candidate, or experience working for a Capital competitor or for an organization using Capital products
