Our critically acclaimed, 3AA Rosette Min Jiang Restaurant offers a unique contemporary Chinese fine dining experience and cuisine with flavours, ingredients and cooking styles influenced from different provinces in China particularly Sichuan.
We are looking for an individual with the following background:
-Strong fine dining experience (at least 2AA Rosette standard) with substantial experience in a Supervisory role or, ideally, in an Assistant Restaurant Manager role managing a similar sized operation
-Good knowledge of Chinese cuisine and service styles
-Good wine knowledge, ideally holding a WSET qualification
-Must demonstrate strong people management skills and competencies including the ability to direct a team effectively in a very busy environment
-Must demonstrate good levels of business acumen, and have demonstrated initiative and innovation in striving to improve service standards
-Well presented, articulate, enthusiastic with a passion for food and beverage
-Knowledge of Cantonese/Mandarin is an asset
Min Jiang is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our team members typically work five days out of seven. The hours of work are as business requires.
