·Excellent speaking and writing in both Mandarin and English

·Having about 1-2 years’ experience within a digital marketing role, you will have hands on experience of Baidu PPC and a good working knowledge of Chinese social media

·Educated to degree level or equivalent

·Excellent understanding of Chinese online audiences

·Excellent understanding of Chinese culture and the retail environment

·A can-do attitude, willing to work together within a small team to get the job done

·Good English communication skills with an ability to accurately translate between English and Mandarin (written and spoken)

·Enthusiastic team player with a professional approach demonstrating, when required an ability to thrive in an autonomous role 

·Meticulous attention to detail

·Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines

·Superb communication and interpersonal skills, being able to build rapport with potential marketing/business partners as well as with internal stakeholders.

·Wider experience of digital marketing outside of PPC, good working knowledge of SEO

·Knowledge and experience of cross-border online shopping

·Experience with forums, blogs, Weibo and/or WeChat, posting in Mandarin, preferably with demonstrable results

·Building on and being responsible for Chinese PPC campaigns including their creation, on-going maintenance, reporting and overall budget control.

·Engaging with Chinese online communities to encourage membership growth

·Developing wider marketing campaigns, working on a wide variety of activities, particularly forum posting, blogging, SEO, social media and email marketing.

·Updating, reviewing and editing site content, helping chose the strongest cashback offers for our Chinese members and where appropriate training will be provided

·Aiding with the creation of weekly newsletters to our members

·Translating content from English to Mandarin, ensuring translated text is accurate and professional

·Supporting other marketing activities for the company
