Boston University, Department of World Languages & Literatures. Seeking a full-time lecturer to join Boston University's Chinese language program, beginning Fall 2018. Position carries full benefits. Responsibilities will include teaching at all levels of BU's thriving program in Chinese language and participating in curriculum development and other program activities. Minimum requirements include an MA in Chinese, second-language acquisition, applied linguistics, Chinese linguistics, literature, or a relevant field; native or near-native command of Chinese and English; demonstrated excellence in college-level Chinese language teaching in North America, as well as familiarity with relevant instructional technology; teaching language through content courses on Chinese history and culture as well as ability to teach Classical Chinese is desirable; potential for program coordination is also desirable.
