The responsibilities in the role of the Financial Accountant will include

As a Financial Accountant you will be a highly driven, career minded individual who has excellent knowledge of finance and accounting practices. This position provides an exciting opportunity for working within a small team and quickly adapting to cover a broad area of duties.

• Bookkeeping and General Ledger monitoring; 

• Month end processing; 

• Prepare regulatory returns required by the PRA, FCA and BOE; 

• Prepare VAT returns; 

• Assist with Head Office reporting; 

• Assist with budget preparation and financial planning; 

• Assist with financial analysis and performance evaluation as required by the Senior Management; 

• Other duties as assigned by the Head/ Deputy Head of finance team. 

• Practical experiences in accounting/ auditing/ financial management/ banking industry; 

• Fluent in both English and Chinese mandarin (Spoken & Written); 

• A Bachelor degree or above, ideally from an accounting background; 

• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA and CIMA); 

• Experience of dealing with core banking system such as Temenos 24 or accounting software especially SAGE will be preferred; 

• Team working and an eye for numbers; 

• Deadline driven and abilities to work under pressure; 

• Excellent communication skills.
