The Barossa Cellar is offering wine lovers from all over the world a rare opportunity to have their very own Shiraz vine in a spectacular vineyard in the heart of the world-famous Barossa. Nestled in the foothills at Vine Vale on Stockwell Road, the vineyard will frame The Barossa Cellar, a stunning building which will not only hold 2,000 dozen of the finest Barossa Valley and Eden Valley wines, but will serve as the headquarters of the Barossa wine community.

At just over one hectare in area, there is no vineyard like this anywhere in the world. It will be planted with vines which have been sourced from more than 30 of the Barossa’s oldest and most iconic Shiraz vineyards. The source vineyards include the oldest surviving Shiraz vines in the world, planted from 1843, making The Barossa Cellar vineyard a unique time capsule of this amazing DNA.

This is no ordinary vineyard! For A$1,000 you can have your very own Shiraz vine, one of just 1,800 available. You will be allocated a Vine which you will be able to identify either on site or online. There is the opportunity to buy more than one Vine, perhaps one for each family member, and you can request adjacent vines. Your donation will be acknowledged on an electronic display in The Barossa Cellar and on our website. In addition, you will receive regular reports on the vineyard's progress and seasonal activities, providing you with an insight into best practice Barossa viticulture, knowledge that has been accumulated by Barossa grape growers for more than 175 years.

As a valued Vine donor, you will have access to The Barossa Cellar and be given first option to buy the limited release wines produced from this unique, community vineyard. The wine will be made by several award-winning winemakers from the Barons of Barossa fraternity.
