众所周知，疫苗和预防接种是众多卫生干预项目中最成功、最具成本效益的措施之一。在过去几十年中，通过疫苗接种，全球消灭了天花、即将消灭脊髓灰质炎，有效控制了麻疹、乙肝、白喉等众多严重的传染病。疫苗保护了无数的生命。然而，疫苗和预防接种也面临着众多的挑战，甚至是质疑。预防接种的价值何在？公众和媒体对于疫苗和疾病的关注点为什么发生了变化？如何更科学的通过疫苗保护我们自身的健康和我们所处社会的卫生安全，这些都是这次讲座将要探讨的重要问题，并结合中美两国的实例，向公众阐述如何通过小疫苗来保护大健康。

Overwhelming evidence demonstrates the benefits of immunization as one of the most successful and cost-effective health interventions known. Over the past several decades, immunization has eradicated smallpox and is on the verge of eradicating polio, and has effectively controlled many severe communicable diseases such as measles, hepatitis B, and diphtheria. The use of vaccines through immunization programs has saved countless lives. However, vaccines and immunization programs are facing many challenges, even questioning and suspicion. What is the value of vaccines and immunization? Why has there been a shift in public and media focus in terms of vaccines and diseases? How can we have healthier lives and safer communities through vaccines? These are some of the important issues that will be discussed during this talk. The speaker will use examples from the United States and China to illustrate how vaccination, a relatively minor medical intervention, provides major health benefits to society.

讲者简介：安志杰，美国国务院汉弗莱项目学者（2016-2017）；公共卫生硕士；中国疾病预防控制中心免疫规划中心研究员。他从事疫苗免疫规划工作近20年，关注疫苗可预防疾病的预防防控、疫苗相关公共卫生事件的应对和处置、疫苗上市后应用评价和疫苗免疫策略研究等工作。近年来作为主要协调人完成了我国脊灰疫苗免疫策略转换试点、起草2016版国家免疫规划儿童免疫程序及说明、制定肠道病毒71型灭活疫苗使用技术指南等工作。他现在致力于支持基于科学循证的疫苗免疫策略和政策制定。

About the Speaker:   An Zhijie, U.S. Department of State Humphrey Fellowship alumnus (2016-17); Master of Public Health; Research on National Immunization at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC). He has worked in the field of immunization programs for 20 years, focused on controlling vaccine-preventable diseases, emergency response for vaccine-related public health events, post marking evaluation for vaccine usage, and developing immunization strategies. As a main coordinator, he conducted a pilot project for adjusting the polio immunization strategy, drafted the national immunization schedule for children (2016), and developed technical guidelines for the usage of Enterovirus 71 vaccine. He is now focusing on supporting evidence-based policy decisions on immunization.
