Sam的第一个个人展览《路边儿》(Wayside),灵感来自他的城市研究背景。他的讲座将讨论如何使用摄影作为了解城市的过去、未来和现在的一种手段。Sam Kay是俄亥俄州立大学的博士候选人。Sam第一次在北京生活是2014-15年,当时他是清华大学的讲师。从2017-18年,Sam作为富布赖特-海斯研究员在北京生活,进行实地考察, 以更好地了解环境政策是如何影响北京的城市化进程的。他目前是Blakemore研究员。
Sam’s first solo exhibition, “路边儿” (Wayside), is inspired by his urban studies background. His presentation will discuss the use of photography as a means of understanding a city's past, future and present.
Sam Kay is a PhD Candidate at Ohio State University. Sam first lived in Beijing 2014-15, when he was a lecturer at Tsinghua University. From 2017-18, Sam lived in Beijing as a Fulbright-Hays fellow, conducting fieldwork to better understand how environmental policies are impacting Beijing’s urbanization process. He is currently a Blakemore fellow.
