PayScale发布了最新的2018-19年度大学生薪酬报告。(* PayScale是一家位于美国西雅图的薪水调查公司。PayScale尤以发布美国大学毕业生的薪水排行闻名,拥有世界上最大,最完善的雇员薪酬数据库。)
报告显示:
从所学专业角度分析,在2年制副学位(Associate Degrees)专业中,护理和医疗专业毕业生薪水最高;
从院校性质角度分析,私立学校毕业生比公立学校毕业生薪水更高,大学生薪酬TOP10中,有7所为私立院校;
从院校所属地区分析,TOP50的学校分别位于16个州,其中有22所位于纽约和加利福尼亚。
今年毕业生薪酬排名第一的院校,依然是哈维穆德学院(Harvey Mudd College),应届毕业生薪资高达85600美元。哈维穆德是加利福尼亚州一所小型的文理工程学院,在校生仅800多人,不设研究生院,但其相关专业实力和学生生源常常与麻省理工和加州理工等相比较。该校85%的毕业生获得STEM学位,毕业生职业生涯中期工资$157,400。
以STEM为核心的大学脱颖而出
你可能会认为美国收入最高的学校是哈佛或普林斯顿等著名的常春藤盟校,但事实上,毕业生最高工资往往来自于那些就读于工程专业很强的小学院的学生。那些拥有最高收入的校友的大学几乎都有一个共同点——它们培养出许多拥有有价值的STEM学位的工程师和行业从业者,这些人的收入,甚至超过了常春藤盟校的校友们。
TOP5院校中,也是以工程类院校居多,第2名是MIT,第5名为加州理工,军事类服务院校也依旧排名榜首,美国海军学院排名第3 。前5名中唯一的综合性大学是私立名校斯坦福。
小型文理学院也"盛产"高薪毕业生
但这也并不代表文科类院校的没落!华盛顿与李大学(Washington and Lee University)、科尔盖特大学(Colgate University)、卡尔顿学院(Carleton College)和威廉姆斯学院(Williams college)等顶尖小型文理学院的工资都培养出了高收入的毕业生。
军事和军事服务类院校仍是不错的选择
从择校的角度来说,精英军事服务类院校仍是不错的选择,免学费或低学费让入学成本变低,但毕业生平均工资却都很高。美国西点军校(United States Military Academy at West Point)和安纳波利斯海军军官学校(Naval Academy at Annapolis)往往是高收入者的聚集地。

根据今年的大学薪资报告显示,薪酬最高的本科专业仍集中于STEM(科学、技术、工程或数学)专业。

石油工程-职业中期工资:$183,600
石油工程师的常见雇主包括雪佛龙公司(Chevron Corporation)、英国石油公司(British petroleum)、康菲石油公司(ConocoPhillips)、埃克森美孚(Exxon)等。此外,石油工程是男性主导的领域,女性只占11%。
运筹学与工业工程-职业中期薪水:$166,300
从事这类工作的常见雇主包括亚马逊(Amazon)、Comscore和美国铝业公司(Aluminum Company of America)。
精算-职业中期工资:$158,100
对于那些喜欢数学的人来说,学习精算数学可以让你在现实世界中运用数学技能。招聘此类职位的雇主包括Cigna, Metro United Way, Hanover保险公司等。
