约克大学（University of York），英国顶尖大学，位于英格兰约克郡的一所高等学府，是素有英国常青藤盟校之称的罗素大学集团（The Russell Group）和白玫瑰大学联盟（White Rose University Consortium）成员之一。在权威QS世界大学排名中名列世界百大大学之列。约克大学的教学和科研享誉全世界，教学质量与剑桥大学并列教学联盟的首位。约克大学于1963年建校，校史可以追溯到700年前，60年代与华威大学和伦敦大学学院同为新生代大学。
约克大学是一所高质量的研究型学校，有着雄厚的学术实力，学校的教学和科研水平非常出色，在参加教学质量评估的23个系中，20个系获得优秀。而在科研水平评估中，18个系获得5分或5*的高分。在英国唯一由官方每7年发布一次的REF英国大学科研实力（原RAE）排名中，约克大学排名第24位。在2001年每日电讯报大学排行榜中排名第二，其教学质量在官方评鉴中名列第一，该校同时被泰晤士报列为2003年年度大学。2014年泰晤士报（Times）英国大学排名第11位，2013/14泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名上位居100位。
