Creative Skills Session - led by SAF

Tuning in to your Creative Calling - Wednesday 12th November 2.00-4.00pm

This first interactive session will focus on developing good habits as part of your creative practice that will help to turn you from an amateur into a pro. The session will help you to recognise what you’re good at, what you need to work on and what can you do to make sure you’re developing your creative practice to the best of your ability.

With practical exercises, real life examples and Q&A/discussion time at the end of the session it will give you tips on how to improve those areas you need to work on. Importantly this session will also help you to identify your strengths and teach you how to make the most of them.

Speaker: Claire Meredith

Claire is a speaker, writer and coach works with individuals and small businesses to help them understand and position themselves best for success. Claire graduated with Law from Cardiff University in 2006 and after a series of career twists and turns, including working for professional services firms, an MP and an artist, she decided to carve her own path; starting her own business, quitting her job and moving to Italy. She is regular podcaster and blogger for the Creatives Hub network and a former co-host of the central London networking event, Drinks and Links.

SAF will also run two additional workshops on different topics at Goldsmiths in February and May 2015. Details of these events will be released in early 2015 on Goldsmiths Careers Service’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account.
