英国赫尔大学始建于1928年，是英国第14所成为独立大学的传统综合性大学。 学校现有18,000多名注册学生，包括来自100多个国家的1,500多名海外学生。该校由Hull主校区和Scarborough校区构成，分别位于英国英格兰东部的赫尔市市区和英国著名的海港旅游区约克郡。赫尔大学下设人文社会学院、商学院、理学院、卫生学院和教育学院，设有350个本科专业以及100个硕士专业。
赫尔大学商学院同时持有世界级商学院的两大认证
一、赫尔大学商学院通过AMBA认证；
二、并于2011年5月获得了AACSB（全球首屈一指的商学院和会计项目非政府认证机构认证），全世界仅有5%的商学院取得了这项精英认证。
