If you are in Hong Kong for the Easter holidays, don't miss the opportunity to attend Warwick's annual student and alumni Careers Event in Hong Kong, which will take place on Thursday 9th April 2015, 6.30-9.00pm, in Wan Chai.
The evening will focus on the topic of Leadership and the importance of these skills, whatever your career path may be. The evening is an excellent opportunity to build your network and explore different career opportunities with Warwick alumni who are keen to help support Warwick students. The event also part of Warwick’s 50th anniversary celebrations and promises to be an inspirational and enjoyable night!
We are delighted to announce that we have secured the following speakers for the event, each of whom are at different stages of their career and can share their career experiences and contacts with you:
Martin Kwok, Warwick alumnus (MSc Management, Warwick Business School, 2013) and Recruitment Consultant at Page Personnel.
Michael Quinn, Warwick alumnus (Msc Economics, 1996) and Head of Commercial Insurance, HSBC
Bernard Poon, Managing Director, Hong Kong and Macau Region at Ernst & Young. Bernard’s leadership industry experience includes healthcare, financial institutions, utilities, logistics, technology, telecommunications, media & entertainment, automotive and consumer products. Bernard was also the first Chinese person to represent Hong Kong in the ironman distance triathlon competition in 1999 and he is an entertaining and motivational presenter!
The evening begins with a welcome drink at 6.30pm, with the presentations and discussions starting at 7pm, followed by informal networking over drinks and refreshments from 8pm onwards.
The evening is kindly being hosted in CPA Australia’s offices, which are located in the Tai Yau Building, 181 Johnston Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
