The American Chamber of Commerce in Southwest China held its Annual General Meeting in Chongqing on March 5th, 2014 Thursday at Hyatt Regency Chongqing.
2014年3月5日，中国西南美国商会重庆年会在重庆富丽凯悦酒店举办。

AGM, the Annual General Meeting is the most influential event with the most attendance of the heads and the senior officers from member companies throughout the year. It is a historical moment that the election of AmCham’s leadership is witnessed. This year, nearly a hundred enterprises have took part in the meeting, they are directors, general managers and president from the leading enterprises in diverse industries. Such as Intel, HP and Oracle from the IT industry, Ford, Cummins and Briggs & Stratton from manufacturing industry, Citi Bank, HSBC Bank from financial industry. The leading team of Amcham gave group presentations on different aspects of the development of AmCham Southwest, such as membership growth, programs and activities, finance and trade and investment promotion service.

Eric Hsu, Commercial Consul of U.S. Consulate General, Chengdu also attended the meeting and communicated with AmCham member companies on promoting trade and investment inAmerica.

Annual General Meeting not only reflects the strong cohesion power of the organization, but also functions as a very good business platform for a close communication between the leading team of Amcham and its members.
