感恩义卖，与爱同行
Giving Bank Activity
——暨加拿大（美林海岸）国际幼稚园感恩节爱心义卖活动
感恩是一种美德。为了让幼儿体会爱与给予，从自己做起，从点滴做起，2014年11月27日和28日下午，加拿大（美林海岸）国际幼稚园开展了“感恩义卖，与爱同行”的慈善义卖活动，给予贫困山区的学生更多关爱以及帮助。
本次义卖的物品都由孩子们亲自准备，其中有孩子与同伴间合作完成的绘画作品、也有孩子和老师们自制的废旧环保创意手工、还有孩子们和家长一起制作的爱心作品，有些家长还从家里带来的玩具、书籍来到现场义卖。活动现场充满了爱与温暖，孩子们和家长一起微笑着把带着美好祝愿的爱心投进了捐款箱。本次感恩义卖活动共筹得善款3947.3元，我们通过广东狮子会龙德服务队把这些善款捐给湖南怀化的贫困学生，让爱传出去！
本次义卖活动不仅增强了孩子们的社会责任感、懂得关注身边的弱势群体，同时让孩子们了解到什么是爱，什么是给予和帮助。本次义卖活动圆满结束，但是我们的爱永不停息！
On November 27th and 28th we held a Giving Bank activity in the afternoon, many parents came to buy all the different homemade arts and crafts! We had all the children and parents make different arts and crafts to put up for auction. All the money that is earned from our Giving Bank will go towards the Lions International.
The kids worked extremely hard to help raise money for the poor and unfortunate children. Together as a school we raised 3947.3 RMB, we’re happy with how well the Giving Bank event went and all the children in Mayland Kindergarten are happy to know they’re helping other children in China.
It’s great having the kids learn how to help the less fortunate! Good job Mayland!
