On June 29th, 2014, the AmCham Southwest 2014 American Independence Day Charity Celebration was successfully held on the beautiful lawn of the Crowne Plaza Panda Garden. This was AmCham Southwest’s largest and most exciting event of the year, with more than a thousand people in attendance. The event gathered numerous local celebrities and talents, ranging from the elite of the Consulate General of the United States in Chengdu, the Consulate Generals of other countries in Chengdu, and the Provincial People's Government of Sichuan, to the tycoons and pillars of society from a great number of famous companies like fortune 500 ones. There was no shortage of joy and wonderful shows during this delightful event. In this beautiful summer evening, all guests had a great time. At the end of the celebration, the guests were treated with a wonderful display of colorful fireworks exploding in the night sky. This event was a complete success.
