2014年11月7日，加拿大高中12年级的学生们进行了“气球能源赛车比赛”。同学们根据物理课上所学知识：牛顿运动定律及动量冲量等知识，经过不断摸索回收废品，制作了7个风采各异的小赛车，并在赛车尾部用气球的冲力作为小车的动力，竞技谁的赛车运动的最远。

On November 7th,2014. The G12 students of Sino-Canadian High School had a competition of their Balloon-Powered Cars. Before the competition the G12’s used recycled materials, according to the knowledge of Newton’s Laws of Motion, Momentum and Impulse, they made 7 different race cars and put a balloon at the rear of the car. By the force of the air from the balloon, making the car to move forward.

经过45分钟的制作紧张的比赛开始了，10年级和11年级同学门作为观众及评委参与了本次比赛。经过两轮的角逐，最终赵海伦、张箫予同学的战车获得了冠军。

After 45 minutes of building up the cars, the competition started. The Grade 10’s and 11’s joined the competition as audience and judges. There were two categories, and Hope’s car won the race for the first category and Helen’s car won the second category.

获得冠军的同学，将获得老师准备的神秘奖励！同时大家期待同学们更多有创造力的作品，“科学日”再续！

Grace will give a mystery prize for the champions！Wish all the students will make more creative works in the future and we are all looking forward to the “Science Day” activity! Physics is FUN!
