每年，澳洲气象局出版的月历都会呈现出澳洲美丽的大自然，拥有极高的观赏价值。今年有超过800名摄影爱好者向澳洲气象局投稿，参与角逐2016年月历，最终产生12名幸运儿。

澳洲气象局出版的月历长久以来都深受澳洲人民的喜爱。据澳洲气象局发言人Vicki Middleton表示，气象局出版的月历是澳洲最好卖的月历，去年一共卖出了6万多份月历。
