2016年4月12日，广州市天河体育中心欧永红主任、颜凯主任及棒球、曲棍球队主教练一行7人，在广州市番禺区体校郭锦添校长的引荐下莅临学校指导体育工作，视察我校曲棍球、棒球、滑板课程的开展，学校总监San、外籍校长Julaine及行政陪同视察。
On April 12th, directors Yonghong Ou and Kai Yan from Tianhe Sports Center, 7 head coaches of baseball and hockey and principal Jintian Guo from Sports School, Panyu, Guangzhou came to CLS to consult us on our our baseball, hockey and skateboarding programs. CLS director San and principal Julaine Percy introduced the courses as well as our school’s unique characteristics to them.
视察组一行先后视察曲棍球场、室内体育馆等学校体育设施，观看我校曲棍球课、棒球课、滑板课，视察组中原国家棒球、曲棍球队队员王广源教练、范淑芳教练现场与授课教师交流，传授经验。
The inspection team visited our hockey stadium, gymnasium and other school sports facilities; watching hockey, baseball, and skateboarding classes at our school. After classes, former national baseball player Guangyuan Wang and former national hockey player Shufang Fan spoke with teachers and shared their experiences.
视察组在听取汇报及观看课程后，高度赞赏我校曲棍球、棒球的工作开展；欣赏教师的专业度；赞扬学生良好的体育课堂常规、体育素养。并鼓励我校不断总结经验，力争在加拿大运动项目特色取得更大进步。
In the end, the inspection team greatly appreciated our work with hockey and baseball. Also, they admired the professionalism of our teachers and our students’ great habits. The specialists encouraged us to constantly reflect on our experiences and strive to make greater progress in the Canadian way of doing sports.
联合国大会主席耶雷米奇表示，人们已经认识到“体育是具有吸引、调动和激励全世界的独特力量……同时可以作为无比强大的发展工具。”学校加拿大运动项目的开展，为学生树立终生运动观念奠定了基础，演绎的是奋斗与拼搏，传递的是体育精神和力量。
President Mr. Jeremic once said, people have realized that sports are an attractive and influential power in the world. Additionally, it can be used as a powerful developmental tool. The development of Canadian sports at CLS can help students establish a new concept of a healthy life.
