BOY LONDON Ltd based in Whitechapel, London are looking for Production Manager to work at their Whitechapel Office.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following duties and responsibilities as a Production Manager at BOY LONDON:

-   Coordinating the whole production process from sourcing to final delivery

-   Build strong relationships with factories and suppliers ensuring pricings and delivery dates are realistic

-   Clear communications with factories over email, skype and phone

-   Willingness to travel to factories as and when necessary

-   Coordinating delivery of all necessary raw materials for production

-   Sourcing new factories and suppliers when necessary

-   Managing, sampling and production of critical paths and seasonal time lines

-   Communicating and resolving any delays or production problems promptly

-   Work closely with design teams during the development process to produce accurate technical specifications for factories

-   Sourcing of new fabrics & trims together with design teams

-   Monitoring line plan together with sales and design teams

-   Managing product costings and margins

-   Ensuring high standard of quality control when production comes into the studio

-   Resolving any issues with order minimums (MOQ) and order or forecast changes / revisions; communicating production quality, quantity and delivery issues

-   Ensuring that factories are supplied with the correct trimmings, labels and materials for the orders

-   Ensuring factories are using negotiated fabric quality / costing, and meeting agreed delivery dates

-   Ensuring garment technical sheet information is accurate i.e. make, yield/consumption etc.

-   Re-negotiating or re-sourcing as necessary

-   Managing existing manufacturing contacts

-   Have relevant degree in fashion and/or textile design

-   Be multi-linguistic as the business will be dealing with manufacturers in Far East Asia (Mandarin)

-   Preferably have production management experience across men’s and women’s apparel

-   Be self-motivated, highly organised, hardworking, and detail oriented (the company is in an accelerated growth state with focused staff that contributes broadly)

-   Production staff work closely with retail, commercial, logistics, and design to advance the growth of the company (this broad corporate exposure and intense responsibility requires a unique level of commitment)

-   Have an established address book of suppliers

-   Have good computer skills and be able to quickly learn systems to make work flow and output more professional, efficient, and consistent.

-   Have good communication skills
