Our firm is seeking a project manager for a permanent role in Canary Wharf London. You will be able to demonstrate key project management skills from both a Business and Finance perspective. A project manager with a real passion for end-to end delivery and be able to manage tight deadlines and budgets. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a dynamic, forward thinking organisation and be able to work on a project for its full lifecycle.

-   Finds out what the client or company wants to achieve

-   Agrees timescales, costs and resources needed

-   Draws up and/or develop a detailed project plan for how to achieve each stage of the project

-   Selects and leads a project team

-   Negotiates with contractors and suppliers for materials and services

-   Ensures that each stage of the project is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards

-   Reports regularly on progress to the client or to senior managers

-   To provide day to day management, guidance and support to the team to ensure the team are working together to achieve the objectives

-   Mandarin to mother tongue standard as well as fluent Cantonese and English

-   Proven ability to translate between English / Chinese

-   Strong leadership, organisational and analytical skills coupled with commercial awareness

-   Proficient in MS Office Package, especially in Excel

-   Knowledge of local culture for language of expertise

-   Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with unpredictable schedules and tight deadlines

-   Good team-player but also able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
