Established in 2009, NYO Chartered Accountants is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors. We have recently relocated to new office in Central London and we are looking for a new member to join our team who is fluent in Chinese, with preference of Mandarin.

Travelling outside London is required during audit tasks, ability to drive is preferential.

-   Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing financial statements and other reports for management, shareholders, statutory or other bodies

-   Preparing client’s tax returns (CT600, VAT and self-assessment) and advising on tax planning and compliance

-   Audit planning and assistance with on-field audit as well as finishing off audit files in-house

-   Detecting and preventing fraud, conducting financial investigations concerning fraud and errors

-   Maintaining bookkeeping of clients in house and in clients’ premises

-   Liaising with clients regarding any missing information and answering client’s queries

-   Produce payroll for each client on a monthly basis in line with Real Time Information, liaise with clients regarding any changes in payroll including starters and leavers

-   Deliver statutory Companies House annual returns

-   Degree educated in relevant field and at least ACCA / ACA part-qualified with at least 6 months’ practice experience and technical knowledge

-   Fluent in Mandarin

-   Good experience of using IRIS Accounts Production, Business Tax, Personal Tax, IRIS Company Secretarial and IRIS-PAYE Master, Sage 50

-   Good knowledge of Mercia Audit Manual

-   Good knowledge of current industry updates and changes in IAS, IFRS

-   Excellent communication / good interpersonal skills in dealing with external bodies, and liaising with internal finance teams

-   Good IT skills

-   Reliable

-   Able to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative

-   Able to take responsibility and ownership of tasks

-   Self-motivated and hard working

-   Flexible and able to adapt to different working situations

-   Quick and willing to learn

-   Keen to progress within the company

-   Can work well within a team and individually
