Since the new semester, SCCS has organized the entrance education from five aspects: the education guidance, students’ code of conduct, Round Square, safety education and career guidance in order to cultivate the students with specific goals, good manners and international vision.

为了让每位学生接受优质教育，发挥个性特长；做讲规范、懂礼貌、有视野的“国际范”中学生。新学期开学以来，合肥高新中加学校中学部将学生入学教育分成五步曲，从新生学业指导、规范培养、走进圆方、安全教育、升学指导五个方面引导学生明确目标、培养习惯、深化理念、树立理想！

At 16:30, on September 6th, all teachers and students attended the meeting of students’ behavior norms. Teacher Liu Jinsong guided the students to understand the school rules. Through this activity, students realized the importance of abiding by the behavior norms.

9月6日下午16：30，中学部全体师生在国际部小报告厅参加了由中学部学生处主办的“抓点滴，好行为从我做起”学生行为规范指导主题活动。学生处刘劲松老师带领同学们详细解读了合肥高新中加学校《学生处违纪处分规定》、《学生行为规范》、《生活管理制度》以及《请假制度》四个方面的校纪校规。通过解读，同学们认识到了养成遵纪守法、恪守规范的行为习惯的重要性；从我做起，从点滴做起，养成良好的日常行为习惯。

Later, Mr Yu, the Vice-principal further interpreted how to become noble and outstanding. As Wang Ziyou from Grade 7 said, “It is about good manners and qualities”. The basic qualities of SCCS students are trust, respect, responsibility, justice, caring and citizenship.

随后，副校长余涛先生就如何培养“高贵、杰出”中加学生的独特气质做了解答。当余校长问同学们--什么是独特气质？初一的王子优同学回答道“是一种素养，一种良好的品质”。是的，“信赖、尊重、责任、公平、关怀、公民意识”正是我们中加学校培养学生的独特气质。

The key to growing up is self-control. If you can control yourself, you’ll have a best teacher. Finally, all the teachers and students took the oath to be a better self.

同时，余校长向全体同学提出殷切的期望---开学是一个新的起点，“慎始者，心欲小而志欲大，智欲圆而行欲方。”在中加，希望同学们学到的不再仅仅是知识，而是如何活出更高的人生价值与目标。这种价值，不是金钱和物质，而更多是以梦想、信念、幸福、成就感。最后，全体师生共同宣誓：我保证……头脑更清醒、勤思考，心胸更宽广、更忠诚，双手做更多贡献，身体健康，更好的为社团、为社区、为国家，为世界。
