Québec Forest Industry Council

The Quebec Forest Industry Council (QFIC) is a non-profit organization comprising members from various sectors of the industry. These include: 83 engaged in softwood lumber production, hardwood and pine sawmilling and veneer manufacturing, and engineered wood manufacturers; 11 in pulp, paper, paperboard and boards; plus more than 130 associate members.  Thanks to its expertise and that of its partners, the QFIC provides support and direction to its members on issues concerning forestry and supply, the environment and energy, recognition of product quality, human resources, occupational health and safety, as well as monitoring of legal, economic, regulatory and market developments.
