随着大数据在国内的快速发展，大数据相关人才却出现了供不应求的现象，大数据分析师更是被媒体称为“未来最具发展潜力的职业之一”。然而，作为一个新兴的专业，目前国内只有个别院校开设了大数据专业。而英国，由于领先的商业和教育环境，大数据的发展已经趋于成熟。

英国的开设大数据的学校推荐

1.UCL  伦敦大学学院  Web Science and Big Data Analytics MSc  网络科学和大数据分析

该专业开设在计算机科学学院，主要是培养理工科学生网页相关技术和数据分析的能力，为想从事IT相关领域的学生提供强有力技术支持。录取要求如下：

学术要求：A minimum of a 2:1 UK Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative subject, or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Students should also have some experience with a programming language such as Java or python.

雅思要求：Good level: Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.

2. KCL  国王学院 MSc Data Science数据科学

该专业开设在计算机科学学院，主要是培养学生收集、校对、监管和分析数据的能力。录取要求：

学术要求：A Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 honour is required in one of the following subject areas: Computer, Mathematics, Econometrics Physics, Natural Science, Electronic Engineering, Geographic Information Systems, and Operations Research.

雅思要求：6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill.

3. U of Warwick 华威大学Big Data and Digital Futures大数据和数字期货

该专业开设在跨学科方法中心(Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies)。不同于传统的大数据或者数据挖掘，该专业主要是培养学生的理论基础和实践技能。录取要求：

学术要求：Although no specific background is required, your application must demonstrate an ability to work creatively and interest in big data and digital futures in general. We normally require a first or upper second class undergraduate degree.

雅思要求：A minimum score of 7.0 in IELTS or equivalent with no elements below 6.0.

4. U of Sheffield 谢菲尔德大学  MSc Data Analytics 数据分析

该专业开设在计算机科学学院，偏重于培养学生使用计算机课程、人工智能、数学和数据，管理和转化数据信息的能力。录取要求：

学术要求：Minimum 2:1 honors degree in a numerate discipline (mathematics, economics, accounting, engineering, physics, and chemistry).

雅思要求：Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.

5. U of Southampton 南安普顿大学MSc Data Science 数据科学

该专业开设计算机科学与软件工程学院，培养学生数据挖掘、机器学习、数据可视化的能力。 录取要求：

学术要求：2:1 honours degree or higher (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as electronic or electrical engineering, computer science or computer engineering, control engineering, physics or applied mathematics. You should have a good understanding of statistical and computational methods, including common Web technologies (for example, HTML, XML, Javascript), databases (SQL), and at least one programming language (for example, Python).

雅思要求： 6.5 overall with at least 6.0 in each competency
