Island Oak High School
BC省政府认可，是一所小型的私立学校，每个班平均10-15位学生，不超过20位。学生中85%来自于BC本省，15%为国际生。该校开设8-12年级的中学课程，学生毕业后可获得BC省认可的Dogwood毕业证书。

开设基础课程：一个学年两个学期，课时不冗长。每学期初会有基础课程，让学生掌握组织、领导能力，训练求生、户外活动技能，培养写作、演讲能力。
开展远足活动：在参加完基础课程之后，低年级学生会前往Juan de Fuca小径徒步，高年级学生会沿着West Coast Trail小径徒步。冬日会组织学生前往华盛顿山进行两天的娱乐，5月会有水上旅游，分高低年级体验划船。
提供和原住民交流机会：基础课程完成后，郊游和正式课程开始前，学生会得到与当地原住民交流的机会，从中学会与原住民交流、相处的方式，对原住民文化有更切身体会。
