Coventry University International Office is the University Group’s international student recruitment and admissions service, operating centrally from our Coventry University campus in addition to a further nine offices around the world. We are a sector leading team and through our dynamic, innovative and target driven approach have we have achieved results that has made us one the largest recruiters of international students in the UK.

To continue driving our success we are looking for a Regional Manager, East Asia to work closely with the Deputy Director, International Development. As a member of the management team you will make a significant contribution towards the growth and future success of this dynamic and successful International team. Through a targeted strategy you will work to drive growth in enrolments from China, Hong Kong, South Korea & Taiwan by achieving targets through a diverse number of pipelines. You will lead the regional team who are based in the UK and overseas to achieve their own targets and develop them to achieve success in their own markets

You will have experience of working within international student recruitment and understand the challenges facing the sector and foresee opportunities to tackle these to achieve success, with a commercially focused background and experience of achieving targets and driving growth.

This position involves regular travel to the region for 8-12 weeks a year on average although this may vary depending on business demands. Whilst it is not mandatory it is preferred that the candidate for this position speaks mandarin.

Coventry University offers a package including 38 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases with length of service) and a generous pension scheme. A relocation allowance may also be made available.
