2017年9月29日下午三点，国际部隆重的举办了2017-2018年度的开学典礼，参加开学典礼有校领导及高一学生和他们的家长。

随着暖场视频的播放，开学典礼正式拉开了帷幕。大屏幕上播放了2016和2017届毕业生代表的寄语，学长学姐们以自己的亲身经历劝告我们无论路途有多艰辛，只要坚持、不放弃，胜利永远在前方等待。

随后，Chad 校长讲话，10年级B班的赵俊涵【Triston】同学进行翻译，Chad校长希望10年级的学生要积极地融入到学校各个活动当中，发掘自己的潜能，培养自己的各方面能力。   

紧接着，典礼进行颁奖环节，李岩老师总结假期的作业完成情况，并为获奖同学颁发了奖状。随后10A同学合唱One Call Way,娓娓道来的歌词和曲调，让大家都陶醉其中。

学生家长代表10年级B班赵梓皓【Henry】的母亲代表学生家长进行了讲话，赵梓皓同学翻译。家长的话语中充满了对国际部的感激与期盼，同时也祝愿三年后同学们可以进入自己心仪的学校。 紧接着10B同学合唱了My Love。歌曲婉转动听，观众掌声不断。

随后，张彤校长进行了讲话，10年级B班庞斯文【Joshua】同学翻译，张彤校长叮嘱我们：无论是谁都不要忘本、不要忘根，中国日益强大，我们要为自己的祖国而骄傲，要为自己是中国人而自豪。

在学生代表张靖萱【Vera】，董原祎【Derek】的宣誓中，我们感受到了高中生活的美好和对它的向往。高中三年的时光里，我们定会无怨无悔，全心全意，全力以赴，拼搏学习，圆各自的大学梦。

接着，国际部主任张毛毛对开学典礼进行了总结。她对高一新生寄予希望，并希望同学们紧随老师的步伐，努力学习，不辜负家长和老师们的殷切期望。

最后，伴随着合唱Proud of You，开学典礼接近尾声。全体人员合影留念，场面温馨，宛如一个大家庭。

开学典礼结束了，但对于我们来说这是一个崭新的起点，有了起点我们将不再迷茫，奋斗是我们青春的主题曲。我们相信，是金子总会发光，努力一定会换来成功。

 On Sept.29^th, International Division held 2017-2018 school year opening ceremony. All grade10 students, teachers and school leaders attended the ceremony.

First of all, some of the graduates sent their best wishes from Canada by video clip, which indicated new students that insisted your dream and kept on working for it.

Then, principal Chad made a speech and Triston translated for him. Chad hoped that all grade10 students should take part in school activity and cultivate their abilities.    

After Chad’s speech, Sally summarized holiday homework and vocabulary test for the first month of school and awarded for students who did better for this aspects. Grade10A students performed a song named One Call Way for the audience. Everyone enjoyed it very much.

Parent representative is Henry’s mother, who made a speech and hopes that students can do their best for their study. After her speech, Grade10B song a song named My Love for the ceremony and got a big applause. 

Principal Zhang of Changchun Experimental High School made a speech and Joshua translated for her. She mentioned a film named Wolf Warriors and told students that no matter where you are, don’t forget  your mother land and should be proud of China.

Grade10 students representatives Vera and Derek also made a speech and expressed their will for high school years.

Director May of International Division summarized the ceremony and gave her best wishes to the new students. With the song Proud of You, the ceremony ended.

The school opening ceremony was over, but it is a new start for us. We will study hard and achieve our success after three years’ study.
