FileMaker, Inc. develops award-winning and market-leading workgroup database products for Mac, Windows and iOS. 

The Telesales Software Consultant, reports directly to the Asia Pacific Regional Manager. This position will be located in Apple Australia’s downtown Sydney office near Wynyard Station.

• Minimum of two years outbound telesales or telemarketing experience is desirable 

• Proven ability to contact and progress business revenue opportunities

• Professional, decisive personality.

• Knowledge and interest in software products and pricing structures would be an advantage.

• Good interpersonal skills, ability to thrive in a high-energy environment.

 • Knowledge of FileMaker and business software is an advantage.

• Sound influencing skills, good at prioritisation.

• Good communication skills.

• Capable of pro-active involvement in company's business activities and further development plans.

• Experience with CRM desired but not required.

• A tertiary qualification would be desirable.

• Fluent in Standard Chinese (Mandarin)

Your role will include, but not be limited to, consulting on new FileMaker products to new and existing customers in order to achieve quarterly targets. Telesales service software consulting business activities will include, but not limited to：

 • Initiating outbound telephone business calls 

• Consulting with customers on FileMaker software maintenance renewals 

• Managing a business pipeline and maintaining FileMaker’s customer license database 

• Working in partnership with the Asia Pacific regional systems engineer, resellers and FileMaker Business Alliance developers

 • Achieving assigned business performance targets

Salary is negotiable and is dependent on skills and experience. It will include a base and performance-related component.
