Using Educational Technology in the English LanguageClassroom

About this course:

The Using EducationalTechnology in the English Language Classroom MOOC is provided by Iowa StateUniversity, as part of the American English (AE) E-Teacher Program, sponsoredby the U.S. Department of State and administered by FHI 360.

This MOOC isdesigned to prepare TESOL professionals to integrate language learning toolsinto their English language teaching. Participants will become aware of freetechnological tools, learn how to use these tools for language learningand teaching, and evaluate the appropriateness of a technology tool for theirspecific contexts.

Participantswho earn 70% or higher will receive a digital badge as a mark of completion.

March 19,2018: Registration opens

April 9,2018: Orientation module opens

April 16,2018: Course begins

April 23,2018: Registration closes. No new participants may join the course after thisdate.

May 21,2018: Course closes. All coursework must be completed by this date.
