副总统会见了印度尼西亚总统佐科⋅维多多(Joko Widodo)，向受苏拉威西岛地震和海啸影响的人们表示慰问。两位领导人同意在安全和经济议题上加强合作，包括对北朝鲜的施压运动和改善罗兴亚（Rohingya）的人道主义状况。

#VPinAsia# #ASEAN# Since arriving in Singapore yesterday, VP Pence met with Indian Prime Minister Naredra Modi to reaffirm the commitment to strengthen security and counterterrorism cooperation and coordination. He met with Indonesian President Joko Widodo and conveyed condolences for all affected by the Sulawesi earthquake and tsunami. The two leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation across security and economic issues, including North Korea pressure campaign, and improving the humanitarian situation for the Rohingya.
