中西医结合如何治疗癌症？11月15日，北京美国中心将举办一场由美国国家癌症研究所的Jia Libin博士主持的讲座，介绍美国国家癌症研究所与中国中医科学院（CACMS）、中国科学院（CAS）和中国医学科学院（CAMS）关于中医和癌症研究的国际合作。Jia博士还将概述不同合作项目在中医药应用领域所取得的进展，以及在癌症预防、肿瘤生长/转移控制、潜在癌症药物筛选、中西医结合等方面的机制的有效性。
How can Chinese and Western medicine work together to cure cancer? On November 15, the Beijing American Center will host a lecture featuring Dr. Jia Libin, from the U.S. National Cancer Institute to present the U.S. National Cancer Institute’s international collaborations with the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS), China Academy of Sciences (CAS) and China Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) on Chinese Medicine and cancer research. Dr. Jia will overview the progress different collaborative projects have made in the fields of Chinese medicine applications as well as the efficacy of mechanisms on cancer prevention, tumor growth/metastasis control, potential cancer drug screenings, and integrations of Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the program starts. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive half an hour after the program has started.
