Accounting Internship
We are a boutique accounting firm based in Moonee Ponds, VICTORIA. We provide traditional accounting services to over 1600 clients and growing. Our clients range from small cafes to big land developers & Builders.

• Basic Bookkeeping Skills Required
• Microsoft Word & Excel (Basic)
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Business Degree (a major in Accounting is a must)
• Detail oriented and organized
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
• Thrive in a small team environment
• Capable of taking responsibility for individual tasks
• A self-motivated and hard-working individual
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
• Able to learn new skills quickly
• Willing and eager to learn about Australian Tax and Tax Law
• Experience: Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Education: Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
• Language: English (Required)
• Office administration and general support of other team members
• Preparation of balance sheets, bank reconciliations, and end of month reconciliations
• Preparation of Tax Returns & Business Activity Statements
• ATO calls on behalf of clients
• Bookkeeping using Sage Handisoft & cloud based software e.g. Xero, MYOB & Quickbooks
• More complex jobs would be given depending on ability and learning
Other Requirements:
Our internship program is specifically designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience in a professional and entrepreneurial environment. Any individuals currently enrolled in a Business degree or recent graduates are encouraged to apply – a major in Accounting is a must. Interns are expected to have 2-3 days’ availability per week, preferred Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the duration of this internship will be 12 weeks.
