DESCRIPTION

Makosh is a London based art-studio specialized in production of creative and unique handicrafts.

Alina Petrenko is the illustrator and designer behind the Makosh range of gifts and homewares. Alina studied illustration, design and visual communication at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design in July 2011. Her work is infused with her childhood memories, nature, folklore and her love of storytelling.

Alina perceives each new project as a new challenge. Her creative process involves thorough subject research and experimentation with a range of materials and techniques. She uses a combination of traditional freehand drawing, printmaking and hand die-cutting skills to visually communicate her ideas.

Alina is currently working on a new collection of upcycled homewares and a range of wooden handicrafts.
