11月12～16日是我校为期一周的财商课程，财商课程是我校特色课程，目的是培养学生对金钱的管理能力，增进对市场规律的了解。

November 12th to 16th is our school's first finance lesson, with the aim of improving money management skills and basic trading rules.

同时，此次国际贸易节活动还结合下月的感恩节，将贸易所得捐入省民政厅批准的加优教育发展基金会，用于帮助特殊教育和贫困儿童，赋予贸易活动爱的内涵，让学生学会感恩他人、感恩社会。

This was also an opportunity to combine Thanks giving theme by donating all sells profits to Provincial Civil Affairs Department entrusted CIEO Education Foundation

, this is to help special education and poor children, and allow children to be thankful to others and also the society.

2015年10月13日加拿达外国语学校第一届国际贸易节正式拉开帷幕！参加的人员以班级为单位，让孩子们从家里带来自己心爱的玩具，各种小饰品进行义卖。
On the 13th October 2015, Canadian Foreign Language School (Agile) celebrated International Trade’s day by hosting its first flea market sells, with most of its proceeds donated to charity.

一连举行4天，从第一天孩子对钱还毫无概念，以两百元购买了“两把”薯片，到后来明白了价格跟金钱之间的关系。明白了一个气球只需要2元钱就可以购买到。
The event stretched over 4 days and innocent students with no concept of money managed to learn the idea of trading by comparing the relative prices of object to their selling price.

在本次国际贸易节中，高年级懂得了低价叫卖，到低年级进行推销，方式多样。

并且高年级学生懂得直接推销给老师，以及“老客户”。

Over here, we saw high grade students going to the low grade area to sell reduced price products as one of their many technique on display.

High grade students also knew to target teachers and ‘old clients’ in a bid to increase their sales revenue.

10月16日星期五迎来了国际贸易节最后一天，家长们都纷纷到校，和孩子们一起进行义卖活动。家长亲手做了各式美味点心，食物。活动现场氛围既热闹又融洽。
16th October was the final day of trades as the school opened its doors for all to come to participate in this charitable flea market sells. Parents brought much home cooked delicacies for sells and it created a frenzy atmosphere.

通过本次贸易节让孩子们深刻了解到金钱来之不易，父母赚钱的艰辛，从中也产生了财商意识。
Through this event, students are able to realize how hard their parents work to earn money and also learn the idea of trading at fair prices.

本次活动各班还亲手制作了漂亮的海报，在进行义卖的同时起到吸引消费者作用。

Many classes also made their own banners and posters to attract attention to help sells.

本次贸易节以公平，公正，公开为宗旨。设立了工商所，税务所，并且每天按时缴纳税务，及时进行公布。本次所产生“营业”款项将全部捐赠于公益基金。

In creating a realistic environment with fair trading, the school also set-up Commercial Bureau and Tax office. After taxation, all proceeds will be donated in its entirety to charitable organizations.

本届雅居乐加拿达外国语学校国际贸易节在全校师生以及众家长热闹氛围中圆满结束！孩子们不仅学习了解了财商知识，锻炼了英语口语，而且懂得了父母工作的艰辛、赚钱不易，在孝顺长辈以及参加公益等方面有了新的认识和体验。

With the cooperation of all its teachers, parents and students, the first International Trade’s day comes to a close. Student will learn from this experience the basic financial principles, that earning money is no easy task and increase the bonding between families. They also have the opportunity to practice their English and participate in charity events.
