“广雅幼儿园九九重阳节”敬老活动

为培养孩子们从小学会关爱他人，用自己的行动孝敬、尊重长辈。2015年 10月21日上午，加拿达中英文幼儿园的小朋友代表在老师的带领下，带着小朋友早早准备好的水果，牛奶等礼物，来到南村镇敬老院开展“爱洒敬老院、情暖老人心”为主题的献爱心敬老活动。

上午9:30分孩子们来到了南村镇敬老院，敬老院的叔叔阿姨热情将我们带到敬老院的餐厅，迎接我们的是一张张慈祥的笑脸。孩子们围坐到了老人们的身边，给爷爷奶奶捶捶背，和他们说说话，道一声“爷爷奶奶重阳节快乐！”。随后，老师和孩子们的表演了《健康宝贝》、《小龙人》、《Snowflake》和《I want to fly》、《Time warp》等节目，孩子们可爱的表演，赢得了热烈的掌声。慰问活动在充满温馨、祥和、快乐的氛围中圆满结束。

通过这次爱心敬老活动，让孩子们了解敬老院中的爷爷、奶奶们的生活，知道爷爷、奶奶们也需要大家的关心和爱护。我们将把“孝心”教育活动作为一项长期的工作，让幼儿园的孩子们知道用实际行动去关心、帮助生活中需要帮助的人。

We visit elderly people on Double Ninth Festival

In order to let children learn to care for others from childhood, and to respect for the elders with their own ctions,on October the 21st , the children on behalf of our kindergarten went to the nursing home in Nancun town to show their love and warmth to the elderly people under the guidance of the teacher. The children also brought fruit, milk and gifts there.The theme of the activity is love and care for the elders.

At 9:30 in the morning, the children arrived at the nursing home.The staff there took us to the nursing home restaurant with enthusiasm. When the children got there, they were greeted by smiling face.Then the children sat around the elderly people. They pat grandmas and grandpas’ back , talked to them, and said to the grandmas and grandpas ,“Happy Double Ninth Festival!” Then we did the performances. Teachers and children performed several programs ,such as the "healthy baby", "Little Dragon", "Snowflake" and "I want to fly ," " Time warp" and so on.The children’s lovely performance won enthusiastic applause.The activity ended in a warm, peaceful and happy atmosphere.

Through this charity activity, the children not only learned about the life of the elders in the nursing home but also learned that we should show our care and love for the elderly people.We will put the "filial" education as a long-term work, and let the children learn to care for those who need help in life with actual actions.
