美味无限、乐趣无限之南瓜食品制作大赛,加拿大国际教育集团微信公众号文章

2015年10月22日上午，白云区加拿达中英文幼儿园举行了《南瓜食品制作大赛》。活动创意源于一本故事《南瓜汤》，老师们通过表演让孩子更好地理解故事，这个故事帮助孩子学习和感受包容，知道合作的重要性。我们致力于让孩子感受万圣节的意义和体验到更多的真实的事物。|

这是我们幼儿园举办第二届南瓜食品制作大赛，爸爸妈妈姥姥们的手艺让人钦佩，他们为自己制作的食品宣传介绍，每位家长都是那么用心。“小猪包和蜘蛛巧克力纸杯蛋糕”、“南瓜布丁”、“南瓜蛋糕”、“群魔乱舞蛋糕”、“南瓜尊”、“南瓜饼”、“南瓜西米汤”、“南瓜辣汤”、“南瓜莲子汤”、“南瓜奶昔”、“笑脸南瓜饼”、“桂花南瓜汤”等等，从食材到制作过程到成品，家长们都花了很多的心思，令人回味。

今天是一个非常热闹的美食大会，不仅让家长们收获了一个大展手艺的机会，而且让孩子们丰富了视野，知道了南瓜的各种做法。同时，这个活动也让老师和孩子们收获了班级荣誉感。

Good Food and Great Fun at our Pumpkin Cooking Competition!

On October 22nd Nanhu Canadian International Kindergarten held the second annual Pumpkin cooking competition. The inspiration for the competition came from the story Pumpkin Soup. The teachers performed the story Pumpkin soup in a play to help the students understand. The story reinforces ideas of tolerance, forgiveness and cooperation to the students. During the month of October we make great effort to give our students a genuine Halloween experience.

This is the second time we have organized the pumpkin cooking competition. We very much admire the cooking skills of the parents who took part in the competition. The parents diligence resulted in delicious food for us to enjoy. Some of the dishes we has the pleasure to taste include: pumpkin pig bun, spider chocolate cup cakes, pumpkin pudding, pumpkin cake, scary face pumpkin cake, jack-O-lantern pumpkin soup, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin shimmy soup, spicy pumpkin soup, lotus seed pumpkin soup, pumpkin milkshake, smiling face pumpkin pie and osmanthus flower pumpkin soup. We really appreciate that the parents worked to hard and cooperated in order to make this competition a success.|

The day was very exciting with lots of good smelling and delicious food. Parents had the chance to show their impressive cooking with pride. The teachers and students were proud to be a part of their class. From this activity the students have a more open view and have learned more about cooking and eating with pumpkins.
