我快离开我服务了18年的单位了！

After 18 years with the former Tourism New South Wales Australia and now with Destination NSW, I will depart on 29 Feb 2016, move on and start a new chapter of my life!

Mr. Oton Wu 18年职业生涯影像历程！

时光飞逝，从1998年3月在香港开设新南威尔士州旅游局，在大陆，香港，台湾和大长今国推广到悉尼和新州的旅游，到2009关闭香港办事处，搬到上海来，在上海一晃就快接近7年了。15年的10月我刚进入人生的第56个年头，2个女儿也已29和26岁了，也是时候停一停再看一看我人生的下半场应该如何走了。

Time flies! Having been worked & lived in Shanghai for almost 7 years, when I just hit my 56 year’s old mark in October this year with my two adult daughters and my beloved wife, I reckon it is about time for me to slow down a bit and let my life to unfold at its own pace. Looking back are all the happiness from opening an office in Hong Kong in 1998 promoting SYD & NSW in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Korea markets to closing down our HK operations in July 2009 and moved up to Shanghai. I still remember my maiden sales trip to Taipei with Uncle Rick (Mr. Rick Matkowski) and the fun of seeing him how to flag down few taxies until the one he liked to my interview with Mr. Tony Thirlwell in SYD in 1998 with a press conference on the same night announcing my appointment by then Tourism Minister Bob Debus.

在这里我要特别感谢这么多年曾经与我共事过的同事，没有妳们的共事，我单独是不能完成很多不可能的任务的！还有特别要感恩在2013年成为我上司的Jennifer，和她认识很多年，我们双方都了解对方的为人和做事风格，我们合作无间，一起用心做事，通过她的理解和包容，我们共同克服很多工作上的困难。最后我还得感谢在悉尼总局的团队，我们的总指挥CEO，感谢CEO为我写下一篇很鼓舞的离任新闻稿。

Special thanks need to go to all my ex colleagues both in Hong Kong and Korea before 2009 and my close workmates presently in Shanghai & Chengdu offices. Without you we could not collectively achieved so many “Mission Impossible”. Heartfelt thanks go to Jennifer who became my manager in 2013. We know each other well both for work and personal. She has been so accommodative and thoughtful that we manage to overcome heaps of hurdles in work.I also need to thank all my HQ colleagues for all the supports you have given to me in the last 18 years. Last but not the least I must thank my CEO Miss Sandra Chipchase for writing such an encouraging press release for me.

小伙伴们，我会一直工作到16年2月29号晚上（含当天的加班加点），之后我会先放空自己一段时间去旅游享受一下，然后再“笑看人生”，决定在哪里居住和发展，但我爱在祖国生活，祖国哦，我不会离开你的！

Rest assured that I would continue to “hassle” you until my very last working day including few hours over time work on the night of 29 Feb 2016! Then my long vacation should commence with South America, Africa, and Russia…..Snowboarding…. all in my radar!
