一年一共有六门课（不包括毕业论文），三门必修课、三门选修课：
上学期一门必修（Contested Culture），下学期两门必修（Analysing CCI & Research Approaches）。学校的建议是，上学期选两门，下学期选一门~
授课方式
一门课分别有一个lecture和一个seminar，分别一小时！
lecture
lecture是老师纯讲课，必修课的lecture主要是系里的老师轮着讲，偶尔会请隔壁专业（如DCS）和外面的人（研究机构）来讲一两节~
seminar
seminar的话一般都要轮着做presentation，通常两三人一组，然后剩下时间基本就小组讨论了。
毕业论文
开学之后每个人都会有自己的personal tutor，带自己的毕业论文。如果自己已经有了明确的research interest，可以写信给系里面的小米或者直接跟导师表明一下心迹，这样往后写毕业论文就会比较理想。
课程特色
① Inside Today's Museum: Tate Modern和Towards Tomorrow's Museum: Tate Modern
KCL的CCI有两门很特别的课程——Inside Today's Museum: Tate Modern和Towards Tomorrow's Museum: Tate Modern，这两门课程是是需要提交简历和statement这些材料申请的哟，只会选18个人~
这门课程和泰特现代美术馆合作的，是在美术馆里上课。因为课程对外开放，所以课上有一半是自己的同学，有一半是社会人士~该课程的带课老师讲一半时间，中间穿插着各种问答、讨论，偶尔也会给点时间去Tate里面看展。
② 论文写写写！
KCL对写作的要求一直都很高，雅思写作要求7.0是常有的事，因为他们家真的有很多地方需要你写写写！
CCI的选修课全部都是写论文的考核方式，4000字。老师会给你五个题目，选其中一个写就是。
必修课也都是写论文的方式，考试卷子题目是五选二，题目来自于每周课的topic，一共写两个小时，分配下来就是一个题目一个小时，写小essay（每篇大概写个一千字左右吧），闭卷！
所以其实这是一个偏理论的专业╮(╯▽╰)╭写作不好的孩子会学哭的~~
③ 关于实习
有宝宝注意到选修课的最后一门吗——Internship！！不过……这门Internship不是说选了就等着学校给你安排实习的……实习是要自己去找的……
而且这门实习课的考核方式居然……也是写写写…一个一千字的internship proposal和一个三千字的final critical evaluation report……
④ 你还可以去选修其他专业的选修课哟~
不过只能选一门，一般而言，DCS和CCI专业的选修课出现互选的情况会比较多。
申请要求
1.雅思总分7.0，写作阅读7.0，听力口语6.5！
2.需要提交一份2000字以上的Writing Sample；
3.PS字数最多500字；
4.专业背景不限。
