父母移民涨价
根据澳洲生产力委员会的报告，呼吁联邦政府大幅提升签证费用，为分担父母签证的费用。目前每年缴费来澳的移民父母有7200人，而1500名父母则是通过“免费”排队签证来澳洲。其中，缴费父母移民每人收取5万澳币，报告预计在2015年到2016年来澳团聚的每名父母，8700名父母给澳洲社会带来的净负债就达到26-32亿澳币。
6月高峰
移民局称，由于6月份的申请数量很多，有42%的增长，所以说相对审理处理的会慢一些。 同时从我们凯林留学移民的内部数据来看，家庭类别递交的申请也是6月比其他月份多。

如果在2012年11月24日之后递交的配偶签证申请，并且被批签了过桥签证A，那么过桥签证将不受任何工作小时的限制；除非是您的主要的实质性签证还生效，即是您还是需要满足您实质性签证的工作要求（比如学生签证、旅游签证、457工作签证）当过桥A生效时，工作小时无限制
如果申请的时候，您被批签过桥签证C或者E，那么不论申请时间，都将没有工作权利，需要单独申请。
