An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager at Sign Salad, an established company in West London. We are seeking a driven and highly responsible individual. We require someone with strong interpersonal skills and relevant experience.

Sign Salad is a semiotics and cultural insight agency offering high-level thinking for street-level application. We work globally to help brands become more meaningful and relevant consumers, by revealing the deeper cultural conditions that shape people’s responses to brands. With an eye to the growing market for semiotic and cultural understanding of South East Asia we are looking to recruit an experienced project manager to deliver semiotic / cultural insight projects for our diverse global clients from blue chips to governments across all branded categories.

 -   Ensure that the quality of work on each semiotics projects is of high quality

 -   Ensure that each semiotics project is conducted in a professional manner to the satisfaction of the client

 -   Help design timing and methodology plans for semiotics projects in a logical way which takes into account both client needs and the workload of the team

 -   Ensure that at all stages of the semiotics projects are carried out in an accurate, professional manner, as follows:

·   Project set-up

·   Procurement and maintenance of semiotic materials (e.g. packaging, advertising and in-field objects / items)

·   In-field research and analysis (where relevant)

·   Debrief preparation

 -   Where relevant, share responsibility on semiotics projects with the Project Director

 -   Inspire client confidence with the quality of input on each project

 -   Prepare accurate semiotics project costings and ensure that expenses and local country costs on all of the projects which I am leading or assisting on remain in budget

-   Experience as a Project Manager in a semiotics / cultural insight agency

-   Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesian 

-   Strong cultural knowledge of the UK, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia (with a good cultural understanding of China)

-   Masters level qualifications in a field relevant to culture, branding and communications

-   Studied semiotics and cultural theory to a high level
