Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
* Being in training under Logistics Manager and being the key daily administration and logistics support to 1 x Logistics Manager, 1 x Logistics – Production Planning and 1 x Production Manager;
* Entering and managing inbound purchase orders daily in SAP across all sections, including production materials, engineering parts, company services etc.;
* Maintaining databases with all critical shipment information in SAP and files;
* Coordinating transport collection and delivery times to ensure timely stock movement and to control the warehouse workload;
* Coordinating and direct warehouse staff with labelling, loading for despatch and goods in and out of the warehouse and plant;

* Documentation, specifications and compliance support;
* Assistance for regulatory, customer audits and compliance;

* Managing customer complaints and the investigations that result;
* Manage and close out the CAR's (Corrective Action Requests) raised by internal and external audits;

* Be adaptable and willing to learn a large range of processes that are undertaken in the factory;
* Performing in-house testing and calibrations. Prepare samples for micro-testing;

* Completing daily checks for the areas of responsibility (eg quality checks, packing checks, coding checks, weight checks, shelf life checks, temperature checks).
Requirement:
* Tertiary Qualifications in Science or related disciplines;
