8月9日周六,悉尼Bankstown将举行美食节活动,每年都会吸引上万的人来参加.地址是Olympic Parade,Bankstown,从早上10点到下午4点.
Living up to its reputation as one of Sydney’s best and most loved food festivals, Bankstown Bites attracts over 10,000 people each year.
Foodies from all over the Sydney metropolitan area and beyond come along to enjoy the perfect combination of guided food tours, cooking demonstrations and a diversity of food stalls.
The Discovery Food Tours explore the world of exotic and tasty culinary treats that we in Bankstown take so much for granted. Be astounded by the number of restaurants, cafes, patisseries and grocery stores that make up the Bankstown CBD. The aroma of spices and smallgoods and the temptation of Sydney’s finest Lebanese sweets are far too much to resist with festival-goers stocking up on treats to take home.
This year’s celebrity chef is Fast Ed, who will be presenting a range of recipes at our demonstration kitchen that are sure to delight everyone.
New to Bankstown Bites this year is our Japanese Master Class. Helping us celebrate the 25th year of Bankstown’s Sister City relationship with Suita Japan, is renowned Japanese chef, Raita Noda. Chef Noda will commence by showing his skills with seafood on the main stage with a lesson in how to correctly fillet a giant tuna, something you definitely do not want to miss! Book for the Master Class, where Chef Noda will then create modern Japanese seafood dishes, matched to the traditional sake for you to sample. Book here for this amazing experience.
In the Bankstown Arts Centre there will be dance, film, art, crafts and displays for all ages and non-stop entertainment on the Courtyard Stage.
