Over the past 24 hours there has been a story circulating on social media in China suggesting that Queen Mary is no longer accepting students from certain universities, or groups of universities in China.

I can confirm that Queen Mary’s policy of admitting students from China has not changed.  We continue to consider applicants from the top 300 universities in China including the 985, 211 and Double First Class universities, of course.

In September 2018 we were delighted to welcome our largest ever intake of students from China, and applications from across China for September 2019 entry are already up over 30%.
