People have started to use the phrase “youthquake” to describe the significant contribution that young people are making to society—however, the “youth” here usually refers to young people with good educational backgrounds, international outlooks, and those who live in first-tier cities. For those who live in second-tier cities and even less developed areas, things can be different. Factors like family origins, regional circumstances, or status on the fringes of society may result in a lack of resources for them. However, these factors also allow these young people to have better comprehension of pluralism and intersectionality. At this event we will aim to show how young people living in second-tier cities acquire self-actualization and empower each other.
This program will be in Chinese.
