Program Description: Mr. Lei Zhang, the founder and Chairman of Hillhouse Capital Group, will share his experience and perspective on investment management in this unique opportunity. Hillhouse is a long-term fundamental equity investment firm with over US$18bn under management as of Dec 2014, one of the largest in AUM in the Asia-Pacific region. It is known for its independent, value-driven research and a long track record of successful investments in consumer, TMT, industrials and healthcare sectors. It is also an early funder of renowned names such as Tencent, JD.com and Qunar.com.
Speaker’s Bio:
Mr. Zhang is the founder and Chairman of Hillhouse Capital. Before Hillhouse, he worked with the Yale Endowment and an emerging market fund covering South Africa and Southeast Asia. Mr. Zhang earned an MBA, an M.A. in International Relations from Yale University, a B.A. in Economics from Renmin University of China.
